Harmonica Meeting in Manchester (UK) - Sunday March 24th 2002 - 1:30pm - 4:30pm.
Pro Harp player and National Harmonica League member Mat walklate has organised an informal, open event where players of all levels of ability and all styles of playing can meet, exchange information and learn more about the harmonica. Here is a chance to meet like minded people and maybe make this into a regular event.
Mat will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate techniques used in blues, jazz, and Irish music. Everyone who wants to will get the chance to get up and play with other musicians, and try the amps and mikes provided. Trade stalls are being organised.
When- The two hour session will start promptly at 2:00 on the afternoon of Sunday March 4th.
