      • Blues Band Course - Ten Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm begininging in September and January.
      • This course will help you develop the skills to play in a blues (or any other type of) band. The course is open to singers as well as players of any instrument at any level except absolute beginner. Previous participants have gone on from their first experience of playing with others to join bands or just used the course to meet other musicians or to improve their playing. Theory, improvisation and other band skills are taught using tracks chosen by the tutor from recordings brought along by the students.

        About Con O'Neil
        Con is a full-time professional harmonica teacher in Brighton offering one-to-one classes, small adult groups, groups in schools and regularly giving one-day harmonica workshops for absolute beginners. For the summer of 2005 Con is also available for teaching in the Reading area. He has given workshops at the National Harmonica League's annual festival, is HTAB accredited and has a certificate in music workshop skills from Goldsmiths, University of London. Email Con O'Neil.

      The Sutton Blues Collective - Good Hope Hospital Social Club, Bedford Rd., Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands - meets on the second Wednesday of every month. It's a club for devotees of acoustic blues, mainly guitar, but harmonica players are more than welcome to sit in and jam along with them. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere.     Wales

    • Adult harmonica lessons will commence on Thursday April 5th, 2007 and will be held as usual at the Old Schoolhouse Arts centre, School lane, off Swan Street, Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Wales. Six separate one hour long workshops will run each Thursday until May 10th. The six week course (1 hour lessons) will cost £40.00 with a reduction in fees of £10.00 per person will be made for disabled, retired and unwaged (i.e. all six lessons for £30.00). Course fees are payable in full by cash or cheque at commencement of course on April 5th 2007. Bring along a fully working 10 hole harp in "C". Theme of all six lessons will be "Bluegrass harmonica". Friendly environment, you don't have to be an expert, and everyone welcome.
