  • Spring Hoolie with Kent Chromatics

Some members attended the Kent Chromatics event, "On The Button" last year and enjoyed it very much. This year they have offered to host the NHL Spring Hoolie, so there is a change of venue and date.

click for more detailed map of London showing the Dartford venue An informal Fun day with harmonicas on Saturday April 8th 10am - 11pm at the refurbished Dartford Working Mens Club, Westgate Rd, Dartford. Just off the M25, this is a comfortable hall with self service light refreshments (coffee and tea), and bar facilities. There will be a good PA system available for open mic. sessions and seminars. In the evening there will be an impromptu Concert with the DARTFORD RAMBLERS Folk Band, and help from friends from the Dartford Folk Club.

Last year the concert drew additional people from the Folk Club and the surrounding area, resulting in an audience of between 65 and 70 people.

Just round the corner are two large Shopping Centres and a Market (for those who are less enthusiastic about the Harmonica) and there is an abundance of food shops - Fish & Chips, McDonalds, Kebabs etc.

Dartford is an Historic town and has a Museum, a Church dating back to the Norman invasion and also the UKs First Paper Mill. You will be only a few minutes from Dartford Station (a direct line from Charing Cross) and close to Boroughs Welcome, the chemical and medical plant.

Entrance fee £5, (wife or partner £3) payable on the door. Free Tea and Coffee all day.
